Bad prospects for today’s summit in Brussels: Instead of normalizing their relations, Belgrade and Prishtina verbally hand out.

Belgrade/Prishtina. The unwilling neighbors ring in their next round of dialogue with mutual abuse. Kosovo’s prime minister, Albin Kurti, is a “Gauleiter of the occupation” who wants to “drive the Serbs out of northern Kosovo and end the conflict at all costs,” railed Serbian president Aleksandar Vučić before the renewed summit meeting with his adversary in Brussels today, Tuesday.

Like Vučić, Serbia’s Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić was one of the employees of the “Balkan butcher” Slobodan Milošević in the 1990s and was therefore responsible for “mass murders and war crimes”, meanwhile Kosovo’s chief diplomat Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz poisoned last week before the UN Security Council. It is “clear” that Belgrade wants neither an agreement nor dialogue: “Because the Serbia of 2023 no longer wants to join the EU.”
