According to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (AMNA), the “plavi” defeated the Africans 96-85 and finished their duties in Group 3 with a record of 2-1 from the second position, while in the quarter-finals they will face Australia. On the other hand, South Sudan exited from the 3rd spot in the group with a record of 1-2.

Following Serbia’s “gift” to Greece, the “blue and white” advanced to the knockout quarter-finals, where they will confront the world champion Germany.
The match that will determine the representative team’s advancement to the semi-finals will take place on 6/8 at 12:00 noon at the Accor Arena, as the Olympic basketball tournament bids farewell to Lille and continues in Paris until the final.
If the National Team overcomes the resistance of the World Champion, then in the semifinals they will face the winner of the France-Canada matchup, which means that the powerful USA can only cross paths with Vassilis Spanoulis’ team in the final.
