/ The Russian news agency “Sputnik” reported today, Saturday, that a series of violent explosions rocked the American base in the “Conoco” gas field in eastern Syria.
Sputnik said that a missile barrage directly targeted the base used by the US Army in the Conoco gas field in the northern countryside of the province, indicating that the attack that hit the base this evening hit deep inside the base, which made the US forces mobilize their helicopters and warplanes, which flew intensively in the skies of the towns and villages surrounding the base.
She explained that the sounds of anti-aircraft guns tasked with protecting the base were heard throughout the area, but they failed to intercept the attacking missiles.
The new targeting of the American base in the “Conoco” field is the second of its kind after the attack launched by the American army on Deir Ezzor Governorate at dawn today.
The “Islamic Resistance” in Iraq announced, today, Saturday, targeting the “Kharab al-Jir” base in the countryside of Hasakah, northeastern Syria, with drones.
