Serious warning to the man who made the bomb threat on the plane

A 37-year-old man who made a bomb threat on a Singapore Airlines flight has been given a stern warning.

The court was told that the American man, La Andy Hien Duc, used some threatening words during the flight.

His lawyer said the man was suffering from schizophrenia.

La Andy Orr was also accused of slapping a man on the cheek on the SQ33 flight from San Francisco, USA to Singapore on the 28th of last month.

The case will continue in November. La Andy is then expected to plead guilty. If convicted, the offense is punishable by imprisonment of up to three years or a fine of up to 5,000 shillings, or both.
