Sesi-Bauru won the Men’s Volleyball Super League title. This Sunday morning (28), the team beat Campinas/Vôlei Renata, by 3 sets to 0, at the Geraldão gymnasium, in Recife. The splits were 25/16, 25/23 and 25/20.
Bauru’s team dominated the match. In the first set, they managed to open an advantage at the beginning and the high efficiency in the attack kept the lead large throughout the partial.
In the other two sets, Campinas improved and started making fewer mistakes. However, it wasn’t enough. Counting on good games from Darlan and Lukas Bergmann, Sesi continued with plenty of offensive volume and won the victory.
Sesu won the second Superliga title in the club’s history. The first achievement was in the 2010/11 season. Vôlei Renata continues with five achievements, but none under its current name.
With the title, Sesi-Bauru also guarantees participation in the Brazilian Volleyball Super Cup. The game, which opens the national club season, will be against Sada Cruzeiro, champion of the Copa Brasil.
