Setrag informs railway users of the temporary suspension of traffic following the derailment of ore train no. 2610 which occurred this Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 1:05 a.m., between the stations of Lastourville and Milole at PK 455+100, which caused damage to the equipment and the railway track.
No injuries were reported, however, near 200 meters of track and 17 wagons were damaged.
Consequently, passenger train No. 233 departing from Owendo station on Tuesday October 31 at 6:347 p.m. will return to Owendo station today and pick-up is planned for all passengers.
Passenger train No. 212 departing from Franceville station arrived in Owendo at 11:30 a.m.
Our teams are mobilized on the ground to restore traffic as quickly as possible.
