The song “Alibi”, a collaboration between the Iranian singer sevdalizaBrazilian drag queen Pabllo Vittar and the French artist Yseult, it is quickly conquering the music charts. “Unfortunately, I will never be able to return to my home country because I would be arrested or murdered. I have always felt like a wandering immigrant. In the last few months, I have been accepted with open arms by the people of Latin America. very special to me and I’m grateful”, she wrote. Sevdaliza was born in Tehran and moved to the Netherlands with her family at the age of five, a career marked by searching for her Persian roots in her art.

She has released three albums: “Ison” (2017), “The Calling” (2018) and “Shabrang” (2020). Recently, the artist has gained prominence with new hits, such as “Alibi”, which could be part of a future album. In addition to her current collaboration, Sevdaliza has a special connection with Brazil. The singer has already performed in São Paulo and Recife and performed alongside big names such as Madonna.

The artist is also a mother and expressed pride in the impact of “Alibi.” On her X account, she asked her followers to celebrate the achievement: “We have a chance to make history! Sevdaliza was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to the Netherlands at the age of five. She received a university scholarship there because of her basketball talents, and eventually joined the Dutch national team.
