There are now seven journalists who have died in the Gaza Strip as a result of Israel’s attacks. Killing journalists in conflicts is against international statutes. Journalists are considered civilians. Here, their names and faces:

A report by the Palestinian news agency WAFA confirmed the tragic death of Palestinian journalist Mohammad Salhi. Due to an Israeli attack, he was hit by an Israeli army bullet while recording events near the border east of al-Bureij, located in the heart of the Gaza Strip.

Photojournalist Hisham Nawajhah has also been killed, initially reported as wounded by Europa Press and the WAFA news agency, linked to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), but his death was recently confirmed. He lost his life in the attack by Israeli warplanes on a media tower located in Gaza, along with Said al Tawel and Mohammed Sobboh.

A television team from the private channel Sky News Arabia stated that the Israeli police attacked them in the city of Ashkelon and damaged their equipment. The channel’s correspondent, Firas Lutfi, stated that the Israeli police pointed rifles at his head, forced him to remove his clothes, confiscated the team’s phones and forced them to leave the area under police escort.
