Muscat: Seven people have been confirmed to have dengue fever in Oman, according to the Ministry of Health. The seven cases were reported in the Boucher area of the governorate in Muscat. Said Muhammad bin Saif Al Hosani.
This is not the first time dengue has been confirmed in Oman. Dengue has already been confirmed in the country in 2019 and 2020, the health ministry said in an interview with Oman Television. The municipality has intensified mosquito eradication activities in the governorate of Muscat in case dengue is confirmed. Chemicals are sprayed from special vehicles in pre-determined areas.
