/ Today, Saturday, seven matches were held in the second round of the Iraq Football Cup, which was scheduled to start on Saturday and Sunday with 10 matches.

Al-Minaa team defeated Al-Naft Al-Wasat team with a score of 3-1, and Al-Hudood team defeated Al-Fahd team with a score of 3-1.

Al-Karkh team won over Al-Kufa team with a score of 2-0, Zakho team won over Afak team with a score of 2-0, and Nawroz team won over Al-Qasim team with a score of 2-1. Al-Naft team also won over Peshmerga team 1-0, and finally Maysan Oil team won over Dohuk team in penalty kicks with a score of 8-7 Dohuk.

The second round competitions will continue tomorrow, Sunday, with three matches, starting with Karbala and its guest, Southern Refineries, at the former’s stadium. In the second match, Amanat Baghdad will meet its guest, Al-Karma, at its stadium, and at Al-Mina’a stadium, Naft Al-Basra will host Al-Najaf.

It is worth noting that the matches are held in a knockout format, and in the event of a tie, the matches go directly to penalty kicks.
