Jeonghan, a member of the popular group ‘Seventeen’ (SVT), will be enlisting.

On the 12th, his agency Pledis Entertainment announced on the global fan community Weverse, “Jeonghan is scheduled to fulfill his military service in the second half of this year.”

Accordingly, Jeonghan will not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN’s 12th mini album promotions and world tour ‘RIGHT HERE’ scheduled for October.

However, Jeonghan will participate in previously announced fan signing events and the ‘Lollapalooza Berlin’ performance. He also said that most of the content that can be prepared in advance for the new album has been filmed.

Jeonghan is the first member of Seventeen to enlist in the military. Pledis has not announced Jeonghan’s exact enlistment date. Details regarding Jeonghan’s military service obligations will be announced later.

Separately, SEVENTEEN’s Chinese member Jun has decided to pursue acting and other activities in China in the second half of this year.
Just like Jeonghan, he has completed filming the content that could be prepared in advance. However, he will not be participating in the ‘Lollapalooza Berlin’ performance, the 12th mini album music broadcast activities, and the ‘Right Here’ world tour due to overlapping local filming schedules.

Pledis explained, “Jun’s will to do group activities together is strong, so although he will not be able to participate in the world tour, he plans to participate in as many schedules as possible to meet CARATs.” They added, “We ask for CARATs’ generous understanding, and we hope you will support Jeonghan’s healthy fulfillment of his military service and Jun’s activities.”
