Several big decisions are coming in Bangladesh cricket tomorrow Monday (February 12) including the future of Shakib-Nannu. On this day, the ninth board meeting will be held at the home of cricket at the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) office.
BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon and directors are going to sit on a long break due to election engagement. It was supposed to happen right after the World Cup. This comes back further in his busyness after the BCB President took charge of the Youth and Sports Ministry.
One of the agenda items in the board meeting is to decide the leadership, finalizing the selection panel, appointing coaches and fixing the titles of coaches, finalizing the list of central contract of cricketers, Sheikh Hasina International Cricket Stadium, Women’s World Cup, etc. Several important issues will be decided in this meeting.
Regarding the meeting, BCB Chief Executive Officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury Sujan said, ‘We hope that the board meeting will start tomorrow at 4 o’clock (2 o’clock according to the BCB statement). Our meeting will discuss economic matters as well as selection panel. Also the board will be updated on the work of our stadium. Some matters related to the stadium will be presented to the board for approval.
