Senior executives, general secretaries and section heads at central and decentralized levels strengthen their skills in administrative writing techniques, but also in the IT field, particularly in advanced Word and Excel software.

This is an initiative of the Human Resources Division of the Department of Commerce, Industry and SMEs headed by Dr. Diaka Sidibé. Launched on Thursday, July 11, 2024, this certification training for the benefit of 200 executives ended this Friday in Conakry.

“This training session which started from the diagnosis of the department which was held this year and a firm was recruited for the occasion. Beyond that, it denotes the will of the Minister to train her staff. For the month of July already, three training courses have been validated in particular the administrative writing technique intended for senior executives and secretaries numbering 100, in IT, in particular in Word and advanced Excel for the other 100 executives but this time for section heads at the central and decentralized level coming from the municipalities”, said the Director of Human Resources of the department, Jeannette Bossia Mano.

During the two (2) days dedicated to strengthening these capacities, the discussions will mainly focus on presentation, general concepts, namely administration and all its components.

“We will then see the typology of administrative correspondence, the standard presentation and the characteristics of the administrative cycle. Secondly, we will see in practice how to make a circular letter, a technical and summary note but we will also approach the writing of a report and a mission report”, confided the trainer Maître Elie Koïkoï Kalivogui.

This initiative, according to the chief of staff of the Ministry of Commerce, was based on an assessment of the level of each person, but also on the ambition to continue to strengthen the capacities of the department’s executives.

“No more than last year, a diagnostic and institutional study was conducted and the report was presented. We are therefore gathered today to launch this training which is one of the activities of the recommendations in the capacity building segment of the department. We are therefore very proud as a strategic team of the department. This is the opportunity to thank the human resources division of the department which was fully responsible for conducting this diagnosis of the department on the side of international experts for its needs in terms of capacity building of staff,” said Mr. Mohamar Sanfrang Cissé who officially launched the said training on behalf of the minister.

The main expectation according to the HRD, is the strengthening of the capacities of the department’s executives, the improvement of our daily tasks, since training is the cornerstone of any activity.
