An evaluation carried out by the Attorney General’s Office revealed a lack of efficiency in the execution of the investment budget assigned for the 2023 period by several ministries, which could imply possible transgressions of the planning and annuity principles established in the Organic Budget Statute.

Among the entities singled out for their poor performance in budget execution is the MMinistry of Sports (Mindeporte), which has more than 241 billion pesos without committing, that is, without hiring. In addition, the Ministries of Commerce, Environment and Housing show a panorama, with more than 66 percent of the values contracted unpaid.
