Britain has warned that Russia could face dire consequences if it invades Ukraine.

Russia’s war on Ukraine could have serious repercussions. The decision to invade Ukraine would be Russia’s worst mistake.
In that case, sanctions would be imposed, which would cripple Russia’s economy.
The G7 nations will work together and firmly to protect Ukraine from Russia.
He urged other friendly countries to join us in this matter.
Prior to attending the conference, Elizabeth Truss met with Dmitry Kuleba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in London.
Reporters then asked Russia if Britain would provide military assistance to Ukraine. “We are working with Ukraine on security and military matters,” she said.
Ukraine, a former Soviet Union, is located on the border with Russia. Russia is adamant that European influence should not increase in a country where most people speak Russian.
In this context, in 2013, the Russian-backed then-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych was embroiled in a major struggle with the European Union-backed opposition. As a result of the great political turmoil, Yanukovych sought refuge in Russia.
