‘This is not a motorcycle rally. It is a sight of people following a truck that is passing by with wheat.’ National Equality Party Chairman Professor Sajjad Raja tweeted. ANI reported that a packet of wheat is being sold for 3000 Pakistani rupees in the country. People are blaming the government of Islamabad and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

The government had stopped providing wheat to the people at subsidized rates. The rise in prices of essential commodities has also made the problem here very serious. Local media also reported that there was a situation where a wheat truck was overturned and stones were thrown at the driver.
