A severe storm hit the Spittal an der Drau district on Sunday evening. The community of Krems in Carinthia was particularly badly affected. A civil protection alarm has now also been triggered for the town of Kremsbrück.
The stream overflows its banks
According to initial information, a stream there overflowed its banks. Initial information from the Lieser/Maltatal fire brigade command said: “Follow the instructions of the emergency services and get to the higher floors safely.” All fire departments of the municipality of Krems are currently in action.
