Now the police has declared senior actor Siddiqui, accused in the case of physical and sexual abuse of actress Revati Sampat, as a fugitive. The actor was to appear in the Kerala High Court on Tuesday. But he did not reach there. Arrest warrant has been issued against Siddiqui. While he is absconding. He has also switched off his mobile. Meanwhile, the court has also refused to grant him anticipatory bail. According to the report of ‘News 18’, Siddiqui had filed an anticipatory bail petition in the court to avoid arrest. A hearing on this was held on Tuesday. An arrest warrant is already issued against him. Siddiqui did not appear in the court, where the judge also rejected the plea for anticipatory bail.
Siddiqui not found at home, mobile also switched off
In search of Siddiqui, the police searched two houses of the actor, but he was not found there. His mobile numbers are also switched off. Hence, he has been declared absconding. On the other hand, sources related to the actor say that now Siddiqui will approach the Supreme Court to avoid arrest.
Revati told the police her ordeal of 2016
Actress Revati Sampat had filed a complaint against the actor at Trivandar Museum Police Station in the month of August. In this the actor has been accused of physical abuse. The actress claims that 8 years ago in 2016, Siddiqui had called her to Muscat Hotel to talk about a film, where she was sexually assaulted.

Siddiqui had given clarification after registering the complaint with the police. He had said that Revati was trying to trap him unnecessarily. Hitting back at the actress, Siddiqui had also lodged a complaint with the Director General of Police. He had said that he met Revathi in 2016 in the presence of her parents.
