Mumbai: Bollywood’s choreographer Ganesh Acharya has been charged in a sexual assault case.
Bollywood’s famous choreographer Ganesh Acharya, 50, has choreographed not only Hindi but also songs in many languages including Tamil and Telugu. He has won many awards and has recently appeared in the film Pushpa which has been released in several languages including Telugu and Tamil and has also danced to the popular song ‘U Solriya … Mama …’.
In the past 2020, a woman on a dance troupe was allegedly sexually harassed by Ganesh and his assistant. Mumbai police have registered a case against the woman. Ganesh, however, denied the allegation. In this case, the Mumbai police yesterday filed a chargesheet.
