SFI goons raid in Thiruvananthapuram; KSU women leader brutally beaten

Four people, including KSU unit president Safna, were injured in a scuffle at SFI activists at Thiruvananthapuram Law College. It is clear from the scenes that Safna was bent over and beaten when she fell to the ground. KSU alleged that the police were spectators despite giving information about the attackers. Police have registered a case against both the groups on various complaints.

The student clash at the Law College took place at around 8 last night. Four students, including KSU unit president Safna, are undergoing treatment at the medical college. Safna said the provocation was due to the victory of KSU candidates in the elections. It is alleged that SFI activists broke into the house where the students were staying.

Safna said there had been attacks by SFI activists in the past and no action had been taken after she complained to the college authorities. Youth Con. President Shafi Parampil and KSU President KM Abhijit visited the injured workers at the Medical College. Police have registered a case against eight SFIs on the complaint of KSU workers. A case has also been registered against KSU workers in a complaint filed by SFIs.
