Hyderabad: While the controversial BBC documentary on Gujarat riots and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was screened at SFI Hyderabad University, the ABVP screened the controversial film ‘Kashmiri Files’. The SFI documentary was screened without prior permission. The university authorities have asked for an explanation. SFI tweeted that the screening on Republic Day was a success and around 400 students watched the documentary.

As an alternative to this, the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ was screened by ABVP at 6 pm. Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film tells the story of Hindus fleeing Kashmir after a massacre by pro-Pakistani terrorist groups. The authorities requested that these kinds of exhibitions should not continue, but the student organizations did not agree.
