Sa.The first look of the big budget movie ‘Shakuntalam’ starring Samantha is out. Samantha will be seen in the title role in the film. The poster shows Samantha in a giant makeover as Shakuntala. The film will be released in five languages including Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The movie is based on Kalidasa’s Shakunthalam and has a huge cast. Dev Mohan will be seen as Dushyanthan in the movie Sufi and Sujatha. After Rudramadevi, the film will be directed by Gunasekara and produced by Neelima Guna and Dil Raju. Allu Arjun’s daughter Arha also plays the lead role in the film. This is also Arha’s first film.

The latest news is that Neeta Lulla is preparing Samantha for the movie. Samantha’s photo was shared by the filmmakers themselves. The film is directed by Gunasekhar.
Neetu Lulla is a two-time winner of the National Award for Best Costume Designer. Neetu Lulla has come to prepare Samantha who will play Shakuntala. Gunasekhar describes the film as Shakunthalam and Kavyanayaki. Samantha herself has shared her photo. The film will be from Shakuntala’s point of view.
