Parshas Mishpatim is the sixth Parsha of the week in the Book of Exodus. It begins in chapter 21, verse one and ends in chapter 24, verse 18.
Most of the affair lists many commandments and laws, especially those related to the legal realm. At the end of the affair, the story of the covenant of the children of Israel with God and the ascent of Moses to Mount Sinai is narrated.
In some years, the Parshas Mishpatim is read on the Shabbat near Rosh Chodesh Adar, and therefore the first Parsha from the “Four Parshas” is also read – the Parshas Shekelim.
