A 26-year-old resident of Lakia, a member of the Alsana’ family, was fatally wounded yesterday (Friday) by a gunshot during a wedding procession on Route 60. Towns station police arrived at the scene, and an initial investigation revealed that a resident of Lakia was shot in his vehicle.
At the end of an assessment of the situation conducted at the scene by the commander of the Negev region, Sub-Commissioner Nachshon Nagler, it emerged that the background to the incident was apparently a factional conflict within the Alsana family, and that it was a blood feud.

Publication was allowed: a resident of Lod was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping two boys and imprisoning them
A 50-year-old resident of Lod was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping two 14-year-old boys, who are staying illegally, and imprisoned them for several days in a shelter in the city. The two managed to call the police today from the suspect’s cell phone when he arrived to check on their condition, after being held there for three days without food or water.
In the meantime, the police forces revealed the location of the abduction and imprisonment of the abductees, and after breaking the lock with the help of fire and rescue fighters, the policemen rescued the two minors, who were taken to the police station for help and continued information gathering.

Carnage on the roads: a motorcyclist was killed in an accident in the north of the country, 5 were injured near Masada
The death of a 30-year-old motorcyclist was determined today (Saturday), in a car accident near the village of Kama in the north of the country. He was found by MDA paramedics unconscious, with a severe head injury and no signs of life, and they had to pronounce him dead.
Meanwhile, a 50-year-old woman was seriously injured in a car accident on Highway 90 near Masada. The MDA team that were called to the scene gave her and four other injured people medical treatment, a helicopter was launched to the scene.

After three months of protests, Iran announces: “We will reexamine the hijab law”
After three months of non-stop protest: the Iranian Attorney General announced that the country is “reexamining the hijab law”. According to him, the review “will show the results in a week or two”.

After the liberation of Kherson: what is Ukraine’s next step in the war?
After liberating the city of Kherson from the Russian occupation, the Ukrainian army is considering its next options in the Russia-Ukraine war, which include liberating additional territories from Russian control. Also, the Ukrainians want to cut off the land area connecting the Russians to the territory of Crimea, which they occupied in 2014.
The Ukrainians are considering taking action to liberate the cities of Litopol, Vanrhodar and Zaporizhia, where the nuclear power plant is located. However, from the evidence on the ground, there is currently no indication of an accumulation of Ukrainian forces for the purpose of carrying out these operations.
