Shah Kiran Gets Preliminary Bail – KERALA – GENERAL

by time news

Kochi: Kottarakkara resident Shah Kiran and Wayanad resident Ibrahi have filed an anticipatory bail petition in the high court stating that they are worried that the police will arrest them following the revelations of Swapna Suresh, the main accused in the gold smuggling case. Swapna had revealed that Shah had come to see him and threatened to change his language, introducing himself as the CM’s mediator. An audio recording of him talking to Shah and Ibrahi at the Palakkad office was also released. The plaintiffs claim that the Cantonment Police have registered a case against them and that they should be granted anticipatory bail.

The audio recording of the friendly conversation with Sapna was released as part of a conspiracy to trap them. The petition states that it is part of a larger conspiracy against the government and that a complaint has been lodged with the DGP seeking an inquiry into the matter. Shah says he has various health problems. The High Court is likely to hear the petition today.
