Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan was detained by customs at Mumbai airport. It was detained by customs last night. Luxury watches belonging to Shah Rukh Khan and his entourage were seized in connection with customs duty. He was released after paying customs duty of Rs 6.83 lakh.
Shah Rukh Khan arrived in Mumbai in a private jet after attending events in Sharjah. Shah Rukh Khan and his manager were released after customs clearance was completed, but Bodi Gad and some others who were with him were detained till dawn.
The search was after watches worth Rs 18 lakh were found in their bag. After participating in the Sharjah Puska Mela and receiving awards, Shah Rukh Khan returned to Mumbai.
