Shahrukh-Deepika Padukone movie Pathan has been criticized by more leaders. Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Girish Gautam is the latest to come forward against the King Khan film. He asked Shah Rukh Khan to watch the film with his own daughter.
Girish Gautam’s remarks came ahead of the start of the five-day long winter session of the Legislative Assembly. “Shah Rukh should watch this film with his daughter. Take a picture of it and post it on social media and let the world know about it. This can never be allowed.” Girish Gautam said.
There are reports that the Pathan issue will be discussed in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly. State Home Minister Narottam Mishra had also come out against Pathan earlier. At the same time, in Madhya Pradesh, there was a protest against Shahrukh’s film not only from the BJP. Leaders of the main opposition Congress also came out with anti-Pathan statements. Senior Congress leaders said that the film is against our values. Govinda Singh and former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri commented.
