Al-Najaf assistant coach Haidar Najm confirmed that the return of coach Abdul Ghani Shahad to the team brought the gazelles back to compete for the golden square.

“Our team played a beautiful match against a young and ambitious team, and we deserved the three points with the efforts of the players and the coaching staff,” Najm said in the press conference for the match between Najaf and Al-Mina, which was attended by the (INA), indicating that “the return of coach Abdul Ghani Shahad to the team brought the gazelles back to compete for the golden square.”

Najm added, “The team’s players suffered a lot due to the club’s financial situation, but they had their say on the field to prove to the management and the fans that they have the right and principle to present the best performances with the team in the Stars League.”
