New Delhi: Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is very happy with the arrival of his son Aliyar in the world. He said that he will always be grateful to his wife Ansha Afridi. Shaheen posted a photo of herself holding her son’s hand on the social media platform ‘X’. With this, she wrote that the 24th date has changed her life. She wrote, ‘This moment changed everything. My heart is full and my life has become much better. 24 August 2024 will always be special for us. Welcome to this world my son Aliyar Afridi.’
Shaheen further wrote, ‘I will always be grateful to my wife for bearing the pain during this time. She is the support system of our small family. I am grateful to everyone for the prayers and good wishes we are getting. Remember my small family in your prayers.’ Shaheen is married to Ansha, daughter of former Pakistan captain and excellent all-rounder Shahid Afridi. Both were married on 3 February 2023.
Afridi will join Pakistan team before the second test
Shaheen is part of the Pakistani team for the ongoing Test series against Bangladesh. He joined his family in Karachi on Sunday after the match. In this match, hosts Pakistan suffered a crushing defeat by 10 wickets in Rawalpindi. According to Pakistani media reports, the fast bowler will join the team before the second Test match to be held in Rawalpindi on August 30.
