Shajapur: A horrific road accident took place on Friday night on AB Road near the Janpad Panchayat office in the city. A car collided with a divider. Due to which the car driver died. At the same time, five youths riding in the car were injured. Out of which the condition of one youth is said to be critical. All the victims of the accident are residents of village Mandawar of Rajgarh district. They had gone to Shajapur to celebrate a friend’s birthday.
In this accident, the car driver Kamal son of Ramcharan, aged 36 years, died. While Raju son of Madanlal (26 years), who was travelling in the car, is seriously injured. Mahesh son of Shankar Lal, aged 25 years, Omprakash son of Madan Lal, Viraj son of Kani Ram and Sachin son of Chander Lal were also injured in the accident.

The car was shattered into pieces as soon as it hit the divider. The sound of the collision was so loud that people from the nearby area rushed to the spot. People took out the injured people trapped in the car after a lot of effort. Also, everyone was sent to the district hospital for treatment by 108 ambulance.

Mourning spread amidst the celebrations. The team of doctors in the district hospital declared one person dead. Whereas, two people were referred to Indore after first aid as their condition was critical. While the treatment of the remaining three people is going on in the district hospital.
