Kollam: Film director Shaji N Karun says that cinema plays a major role in fostering and maintaining religious harmony in Kerala today. He also said that the theme promoting secularism is now more prevalent in films. He was speaking after inaugurating the state level film study camp organized by Gandhi Bhavan Rural Film Institute (GARFI) at Infant Jesus School, Thankassery, Kollam.
