The chairman of the right and the interior minister, Ayelet Shaked, issued a public letter to the former prime minister and partner in the right, Naftali Bennett.
“Thank you Naftali Bennett,” Shaked wrote. “Thank you that the envelope fields are green and not burnt, thank you that the Iranians are shaking, thank you for leading the most accurate corona and without closures and thank you for powerfully leading the flag parade. Thank you to world leaders for not turning back or agreeing to a state of terror.”
“Thank you for loving everyone and seeing them all as partners and thank you for a long road saturated with successes and also obstacles.”
I’ve known you for 16 years. There was not a single day that you did not think of our country as a first priority. As in Lebanon, so in the Knesset and the Prime Minister’s Office. As you may recall, Bennett handed the party over to Shaked after deciding that he would not run in the upcoming elections. For now, Shaked is moving on the verge of the blocking percentage at best, and it remains to be seen whether she will indeed run with her right in the current constellation.
