Shakib Al Hasan sought votes by joining Awami League’s victory procession in Magura.
On Tuesday (December 19), the victory procession was organized by the district Awami League.
According to party sources, the victory procession started from Nomani Maidan in Magura town at 12 noon as part of the program announced by the Centre. The procession ends at the same place after circumambulating the city. Later a short rally was held there.
District Awami League president Abdul Fatta addressed the rally, Awami League nominated candidate of Magura-1 constituency Shakib Al Hasan and district Awami League general secretary Pankaj Kundu addressed the gathering.
At that time, Shakib Al Hasan said that he wants to gift two seats of Magura to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the upcoming elections. That’s why I call upon SABIC to go to the polling station and vote for the boat brand in the next January 7 election.
