Actor Shakib Khan is busy shooting in the country and abroad. This King Khan returned to Dhaka at around 8 am yesterday after completing 18 consecutive days of shooting for the movie ‘Rajkumar’ in different states of the United States.
After a long journey of 22 hours, he rested for three hours at his home in Gulshan, and in the afternoon he again boarded a helicopter and flew to Sajek in Rangamati. Arshad Adnan, the producer of the movie, said that he participated in the shooting of the movie ‘Rajkumar’ there.
‘Rajkumar’ will be released next Eid-ul-Fitr. Most of the shooting of the movie has already been completed. Shakib Khan went to Sajek to take part in a shoot for the remaining two days. Producer Arshad Adnan accompanied Shakib in the helicopter.
‘Rajkumar’ is being made with the challenge of breaking the record of last year’s global hit ‘Priyatma’. Those concerned say that there has never been a movie of such a big event in two Bengals before. Director Himel has already said that a new history can be written in Bengali cinema with ‘Rajkumar’.
‘Rajkumar’ revolves around the story of love, family relationships and a dreamy young man’s journey from Bangladesh to America. The shooting of the movie started in Dhaka last December. Later shooting was done in Chennai and USA. American actress Courtney Coffey is opposite Shakib in it.
