For the first time in Bangladesh, Remark HB Limited has introduced a special protection program for retail traders and their families. Under this program, it has been announced to waive off all dues in case of death of any of the company’s retail level sellers.

At the same time, the amount of money that the businessman has paid to the company as the price of the product in the last one year will be donated to his family.

Remark HB, an affiliate of Remark LLC USA, has announced this announcement to its business networking partners across the country, creating new excitement among retailers.

Retailers who have traditionally expanded their business across the country and delivered products directly to consumers, were largely disrespected. Companies have been using them as a tool to sell their own products and generate profits. By paying special attention to the neglected retail level business community, the multinational company Remark-Harlan has made them ‘yours’. Because they are the main driving force of this business. And their number is like 14 to 2 million across the country.

On Saturday (July 13) in a hotel in Dhaka, the company’s director and actor Shakib Khan announced Remark’s Apanjan program.

At this time, he accepted 13 retail traders from different regions of the country as Apanjan under the ‘Apanjan’ program.

Shakib Khan said, ‘Remark is not just a business, Remark is a family. I, you, our colleagues are all members of this family. The main purpose of this family is to move forward together by supporting each other through the advantages and disadvantages. And for that purpose, Remark launched ‘Apanjon’ program. As a result, our family members who are delivering our products to people across the country will benefit the traders.’

He said, ‘My business journey started from this room. I started this journey to spread authentic products for the development of the country, economic development and quality of people’s lives. Remark has become a name of our love. Our love has spread abroad. We can proudly call the Remark name our product. We want to adopt the marginal small and medium shopkeepers of the country. Because their wealth is that one shop, his family also depends on that shop or business. But with the death of the businessman, his family’s dream and place of dependence also died. This is the first initiative that Remark has taken with the marginal businessmen, it is a great initiative like yours. The family of businessmen should think that Remark is by their side.

Under the ‘Apanjan’ programme, medium and small businessmen involved in the sale of Remark products will get uninterrupted supply of goods, credit facility, family support during emergencies. Besides, a humanitarian policy has been put in place to give the family an amount equal to the purchase of goods in one year along with the ongoing dues waiver in case of the sudden death of a businessman under the Apanjan program.

Apart from this, the ‘Apanjan’ program has many other facilities. Through which Remark HB will work for the welfare of ‘your’ members throughout the year.

Mamnoon Hasan Emon, executive director of Remark, said, ‘Remark has started this activity out of a sense of responsibility and duty towards the businessmen. This will benefit their families. In case of death before payment of dues, the family members do not have to take any responsibility for the product. Our initiative is to provide maximum protection to the sellers.

Apart from Shakib Khan, other senior officers of Remark were also present on the occasion.

Apart from this, popular actors Parimoni, Vidya Sinha Mim, Mamnoon Hasan Imon, Tanzin Tisha, Prathanna Fardeen Dighi, Pooja Cheri, Mim Mantasa and Kaya Payal and many other media personalities were also present.

Kaya Payal said, those who stand by the side in danger are yours. I myself am going to participate in an Apanjan program. No one has come forward with such cooperation at the retailer level before in Bangladesh. Hope this work of Remark will be really remarkable.

Pooja Cheri said in her speech, “As a child, we wanted to be businessmen as our aim in life. Maybe I’ll be a businessman at the end of my media career. So a very good initiative for all traders. I am fortunate to be with and a part of this initiative. May this trail of remarks be endless. My most dangerous time was when I lost my mother. After his death I felt helpless. Then I joined Remark. From then on I felt like I had Remark along with my other loved ones. Hopefully this trend will continue.

Parimani says, Apnajan is never after. This I wholeheartedly believe. It is incredible how small businessmen have taken up the courage to move forward with Remarks.

Vidya Sinha Saha Mim said, We work around our people. Those who stand by me in times of happiness as well as sadness are my own people. People have moments that are never forgotten. It is an honor to be with the people working on Remark products. We want to do better together for everyone, so we want you on our side.
