Indian pacer Mohammad Shami last played in 2023 ODI World Cup. He suffered an ankle injury in the final. He did not play after that. However, he has recovered from the injury. He was rumored to play in the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. But in August it was known that Shami will not play in the series against Bangladesh.
Then we hear about his performance in India’s New Zealand series. New Zealand team will tour India from October 16 to November 5. But today Monday (September 15) it became known that he will not be able to play against New Zealand. According to the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Shami is still not fully fit.
However, this star pacer can play in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. The first of the five-match series will begin on November 22 in Perth.
