Unable to contact the cricketers in Pakistan, their families have turned to the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). They are calling the concerned officials of BCB and asking to know the situation in Pakistan.

A BCB source told RisingBD that some cricketers’ families have contacted us. Our team is safe. For now communication is being arranged through local numbers. Some are also trying with a VPN. Nothing to worry about for now.

The Bangladesh team was supposed to go to Pakistan on August 17. But due to the lack of practice conditions in the country, the team flew on August 12. On August 14, the representatives of Red Green also conducted a formal exercise.

The two-match Test series will begin in Rawalpindi from August 21. The second and final Test of the series will be played in Karachi on August 30.
