Today, Sunday, the President of Al-Karkh Sports Club, Karim Hammadi, remembered the late Sharar Haider, stressing that he will remain a supreme value in Iraqi sports and a name that will not be repeated due to his value, morals and integrity.
Hammadi said in a speech during the opening ceremony of the statue of the late Sharar Haider at Al-Karkh Club, which was followed by the (INA), “A year has passed since the death of the late Sharar Haider, as if it were hours or minutes that passed quickly in our lives with the loss of a friend and companion throughout these years.”
He added: “We hope to be up to the responsibility and to the level of what we promised our late colleague and brother Sharar Haidar, and to preserve this trust that he left us and to preserve this club with all the details that he supervised.”
He continued: “We cannot talk about the captain until time catches up with us, but the day will come when I will talk about my relationship with the deceased and about the integrity of this man and his supreme value in Iraqi sports and in Iraqi football,” stressing that “the late Sharar Haider is a name that will not be repeated and indeed will not be repeated in all the details of his sporting value, morals and integrity.”
