Share Market Today: On the third day of the week today (Oct 12-Wednesday), Indian stock markets ended the trade in gains.
Mumbai Stock Exchange BSE Sensex gained 478.59 points (0.84 percent) and National Stock Exchange NSE Nifty gained 140.05 points (0.82 percent).
In the 20-stock Mumbai Stock Exchange, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, HCL, Teck, HCFC, corporate stocks in gains, Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel, Dr. Reddy’s Lab, ICICI Bank And corporate stocks including Titan Co also traded in losses.
On the National Stock Exchange, corporate stocks including Adani Enterprises, Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel, Cipla, Dr. Reddy’s Lab were losers, while Adani Ports and Specials, Apollo Hospitals, Axis Bank, Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finance were gainers.
While the stock markets ended yesterday with a loss of over 1.45 percent, today both the markets rose over 0.80 percent.
