Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the , and , sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Index rose 0.54%.
The best performance of the session on the Index came from Nel ASA (OL:), which rose 5.70%, corresponding to 0.27 points, to trade at 4.99 at the end of the session. Meanwhile, the shares of Salmar ASA (OL:) added 2.50%, or 13.50 points, ending the day at 553.50, and those of Golden Ocean (OL:), advanced 1.66%, or 2.30 points, at the close of operations at 140.80.
The worst performer of the session was shares of Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL: ), which fell 2.92% or 4.10 points, with shares trading at 136.10 at the close. Tomra Systems (OL:) decreased 0.45%, or 0.70 points, to end at 155.50, and Hafnia Ltd (OL:) decreased 0.40%, or 0.30 points, to 75.10.
Advancing stocks outperformed bearish stocks on the Oslo Stock Exchange 172 to 111, while 28 were unchanged.
Crude oil futures for November delivery rose 0.88%, or 0.60, to $68.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent crude for December delivery rose 0.89%, or 0.64, to settle at $72.18 a barrel, while gold futures for December delivery fell 0.47%, or 12.60, to trade at $2,655.50 in face per troy ounce.
EUR/NOK rose 0.22% to 11.76, while USD/NOK added 0.34% to 10.54.
The Dollar Futures Index, meanwhile, was down 0.12% at 100.23.
