Investing.com – Israel – Stocks were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and , sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the Index fell 0.88%.

The best performance of the session on the Index came from shares of Energix (TASE:), which rose 0.85%, corresponding to 11.00 points, trading at 1,309.00 at the end of the session. Meanwhile, the shares of Ormat Technologies (TASE:) added 0.30%, or 80.00 points, to end the day at 27,090.00, and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:), which advanced 0.25%, or 40.00 points, ended the day at 15,980.00.

The worst performer of the session was shares of Harel Ins & Inv (TASE:), which fell 6.50% or 242.00 points, with shares trading at 3,480.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE: ) declined 3.96% or 1,360.00 points to end at 32,950.00 while NICE Ltd (TASE: ) declined 2.99% or 1,940.00 points to 62,840.00.

Falling stocks were 250 to 183 higher than advance stocks on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, while 105 were unchanged.

Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) shares rose to 52-week highs; getting 0.25%, or 40.00, to 15,980.00.

Crude futures for October delivery fell 2.98%, or 2.26, to $73.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent crude for November delivery fell 2.40%, or 1.89, to settle at $76.93 a barrel, while gold futures for December delivery fell 0.95%, or 24.30, to trade at $2,536.00 in face per troy ounce.

USD/ILS fell 0.82% to 3.62, and EUR/ILS fell 0.99% to 4.00.

The Dollar Futures Index, meanwhile, was down 0.35% at 101.62.
