Shark Ninja presents itself very confidently at the IFA and with prominent brand ambassadors. Also present: many new products for the German market.
US manufacturer Shark Ninja is offering a somewhat unusual presentation. On Thursday, it presented itself at the IFA technology fair with familiar faces and a whole host of new products. The US manufacturer makes no secret of its attack on the German market and now offers kitchen, household and lifestyle products in a total of 34 categories for everyday use – from stand mixers and coffee machines to vacuum cleaners, ice cream machines, outdoor grills and multi-cookers.
Shark Ninja’s approach is special, said Neil Shah, Global Chief Commission Officer. The company looks closely at the market and specifically looks for problems that users have with competitors’ products. The collaboration with influencers is also extremely valuable in testing the products in users’ everyday lives – where they are ultimately needed.
The press conference also reported on goals and visions, and even quoted Albert Einstein, who had ceremoniously opened the IFA in 1930. There are also world-famous brand ambassadors such as David Beckham, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Judith Rakers. Hollywood star Courteney Cox, known for her role as Monica in the TV series “Friends” and her extreme obsession with cleaning, will now sit back and let the devices do the work.
In the end, however, it is the products that have to decide and convince the users. After all, there are more than enough of them this year. Shark Ninja showed a total of 23 new products.
There were fans, air fryers, self-cleaning robot vacuum cleaners, handheld vacuum cleaners that are primarily intended for pet owners – as well as a hairdryer that turns into a hair curler with just one movement of the hand. Slush and smoothie makers were also on display, as well as coffee machines that give tips on the degree of grinding of the beans or suggest the brewing temperature for the desired coffee speciality – and even prepare the trendy drink cold brew coffee.
What surprised us most, however, was the fact that the term “artificial intelligence” was not mentioned once during the entire presentation. Many of the new devices are obviously full of it, but nobody talked about it – another very refreshing approach.
