Sharon Marie Tate was born on January 24, 1943 in Dallas, Texas and moved to Los Angeles in 1962 after she began entering beauty pageants and appearing in films with small roles. The turning point for her career came in 1965, thanks to the English horror film “Ceremony for a Crime”, for which she flew to London and remained there even after the filming was over, ending up getting to know what in the next few years would become her husband.
