Shashi Tharoor ‘Trainee’, Can’t Lead Congress; K. Sudhakaran said that people from southern districts are bad Kerala | Deshabhimani

by time news

Kochi > KPCC president K Sudhakaran said that Shashi Tharoor is still only a “trainee” in the Congress. Tharoor does not have the ability to lead the organization. He is adamant that he will join the BJP if he feels like it. Sudhakaran openly said that there are other parties to join the UDF if the league leaves. Sudhakaran’s response is in an interview with The New Indian Express.

Sudhakaran has also given insulting responses to the people of South Kerala in the interview. Leaders from North Kerala are all straight thinkers. But that is not the case in South Kerala. Sudhakaran says there are historical reasons for this.

If the Muslim League leaves the UDF, there are other parties to come to the fore. There is no point in saying that if there is no League, then there is no Congress and UDF. Not only CPI but also Kerala Congress is not happy with LDF. A leader in the Congress is the main reason for leaving the Kerala Congress Front. Some of his statements angered them.

The leaders of Kerala are not worried that Tharoor will rise to the leadership. All that is required is the ability to lead. Tharoor has no tradition of leading the organization. He became KPCC president after holding many positions. But Tharoor has no such experience in politics. Mallikarjun Garkhe is 80 years old but he is well experienced in politics.

I have directly said that Tharoor cannot lead the party. If Tharoor becomes president, it will be like managing a “trainee” factory. Tharoor has not even held a post of booth president. It is not correct to say that Tharoor is winning Thiruvananthapuram because of his personality. Without Congress, he cannot win.

It is not surprising that if the party is in a bad state, the leaders go to the BJP. There are leaders who become frustrated without authority. He is sticking to what he said that he will join the BJP if he feels like it. But I am not even thinking about leaving the Congress now – Sudhakaran said.

Leaders from North Kerala are all straight thinkers. But that is not the case in South Kerala. There are some historical reasons for that. Let me tell you a story… After killing Ravana, Rama was returning with Sita and Lakshmana from Lanka in the Pushpaka Vimana. When he reached the top of southern Kerala, Lakshmana thought of pushing Rama down and crossing with Sita. But by the time he reached Thrissur, Lakshman’s mind changed. Understanding this, Raman said to Laxna, “I understood what you were thinking, it is not your problem, it is the problem of the country we have entered” – says Sudhakaran in the interview.
