Daniela Büchner has moved to the summer jungle camp in South Africa. She has changed physically since she took part in the regular season four years ago.
Reality TV star and Mallorca emigrant Daniela Büchner is facing a new challenge four years after her participation in the jungle camp: Alongside 13 former candidates from the popular RTL trash show, she is moving back into the camp, this time in South Africa. The edition to mark the show’s 20th anniversary – entitled “I’m a Star – Showdown of the Jungle Legends” – will be broadcast on television from August 16th.
However, the episodes are available one day earlier on the in-house streaming service RTL+ for a fee. On Thursday evening, fans were able to get their first impressions of the jungle. At the beginning there was the obligatory round of introductions, in which Daniela Büchner also talked about herself. She recalled her first participation four years ago – and compared her old self with her current self. “Now look at me, 15 kilos lighter, long blonde hair, new boobs. Of course, not everything is real, folks. But it’s OK,” she admitted openly.
Daniela Büchner makes no secret of her visits to the beauty doctor. Last autumn, she declared on Instagram after a user criticized her for her artificial appearance: “YES! I wear extensions. Lots of people do and I feel very comfortable with them at the moment.” She added: “Yes! I’ve had breast surgery. I mean: four pregnancies, breast-fed three babies – it felt like a piece of cake for me.”
She also said that she had “used Botox several times”. At 45, that was “completely OK”. Finally, she explained that she had “lost a few kilos” but had never had liposuction and never planned to.
She said at the end of her statement that she could not understand the criticism: “We women are all beautiful. Each in our own way.”
Daniela Büchner is the widow of the Vox cult emigrant Jens Büchner, who died in November 2018. The two had been a couple since 2015 and lived in Mallorca. Their twins were born in 2016. The Büchners got married in 2017 and were accompanied by the “Goodbye Germany!” cameras. They took part in the “Summer House of the Stars” together. After Jens Büchner’s death, Daniela was in the jungle camp in 2020, where she came third.
