Richard Lugner can look back not only on an impressive career, but also on a turbulent love life. The Austrian entrepreneur married for the sixth time a few months before his death and had numerous relationships. This resulted in four children. Many fans only know of three children.
His first marriage to Christine Gmeiner produced two sons, Alexander and Andreas, and his fourth wife, Christina Lugner, has a daughter named Jacqueline. But Richard Lugner also has another daughter, Nadin. She was born in 1985 to Lugner and former Austrian actress Sonja Jeannine. The two-year romance ended in the year of her birth, and Jeannine moved to the USA with her daughter.
“I saw her three times as a child. Then she moved to Hawaii with her mother,” Richard Lugner once told the “heute” newspaper. It was only when Nadin found out who her father was as a young woman that contact intensified. “At 21, when her mother told her who her father really was, I met her. Many years later in Florida, and once I visited her with her siblings Alexander and Jaqueline,” Lugner said in 2022, emphasizing how proud he was of his daughter.
Richard Lugner is said to have visited the now 39-year-old in Nevada in April. She now lives there, works as a judge and has a son.
Nadin Jeannine Cutter flew in from America to say goodbye to her father. She did not attend the public ceremony on August 31 in St. Stephen’s Cathedral, but came to the private celebrations in the Kaasgraben Church. Paparazzi photos show her together with her son, both wearing masks.
