“The first 3 months were strange because we didn’t know what was going to happen, in general I didn’t have things that put me and the little one at risk. The pregnancy was sudden, it coincided with the fact that we decided not to be with her dad, we were together for some years! To solve the mysteries, the man does not live in Athens, he lives and works outside, we are the parents of the little girl and always will be. When I got pregnant I just wanted to be with my gynecologist all the time. I had two failed pregnancies, I was scared in the first trimester, I was praying and saying “God don’t go through this again”.
Our role as parents is not negated by separation, I am not afraid of that. My family is positive because they see the miracle and I am a child of divorced parents, they did not divorce so that I would be well! I was pressured by people’s comments when they asked me who the father is,” Elizabeth Spanou confessed.
