The film is being brought to theaters by NM Badusha and Shinoy Mathew under the banner of Pen and Paper Creations. Padma is a movie written and directed by Anoop Menon. Anoop Menon plays a psychiatrist in Padma.
The story unfolds through his interactions with the patients. It will be a relationship drama film. Anoop Menon and Surabhi are playing the role of a couple. Shankar Ramakrishnan, Mala Parvathy and Shruti Rajinikanth are the other main stars. About 20 newcomers are also playing roles in the film.
