Sheep Escape Wageningen: Police Called to Round Up Flock

Wageningen police responded to a rather unusual call this morning: approximately fifty sheep were spotted taking an unauthorized stroll. The animals escaped their pasture adn officers worked to safely guide them off the road.

According to a report, the wandering sheep quickly became a local attraction. The circumstances of their escape remain unknown. Officers skillfully directed the flock across a roundabout and secured them in a schoolyard.

The sheep’s owner, assisted by a dog, eventually led the animals back to their pasture. Motorists experienced brief delays as the woolly travelers made their way home.
