He didn’t get a kiss

At the end of her speech, Claudia Sheinbaum left the stage to say goodbye to some of those present at the Teatro Metropólitan.

First, she said goodbye with a handshake and kiss to Marcelo Ebrard, then she did the same with another of the guests. But when it was Fernández Noroña’s turn, something awkward happened.

Noroña shook Sheinbaum’s hand and smiled at her, but the president-elect passed by Adán Augusto, whom she kissed on the cheek. Since Fernández Noroña was still holding Sheinbaum’s hand, she turned around and they shook hands.

Claudia Sheinbaum then said goodbye to the still Secretary of the Interior and turned back to where Noroña was, with whom she exchanged a few words and they said goodbye again by hand, while the president-elect smiled as if surprised.

So far, neither Sheinbaum Pardo nor Fernández Noroña have commented on the viral video.
